It was only recently that I found out that the real title of this is Breathe. I didn’t know ‘cause I only downloaded this track off Limewire a while back. Hee! Instruments completely done in midi by me. And then final mixing was done by my good friend Gab. :D

I was on the plane back to Manila yesterday from my mom’s hometown, Catarman, when a sort-of genius plan suddenly hit me, or at least I’d like to think it was. I did the usual, the thing I always did on plane rides, on boring trips, in the bathroom, before going to sleep, or whenever my ears were vacant. I whipped out my iPod (my friend’s, actually, ‘cause mine’s been broken for a few months now) and hit the play button on my D: Paramore playlist, D for discography if you haven’t figured that out yet.
As I was listening to Playing God and trying to break down the different tracks one by one in my head as I’d planned to record a cover song of it next, I suddenly recalled watching Julie and Julia a couple of weeks back, and how Julie had completed a recipe or two from Julia’s cookbook a day and blog about it.
Then it hit me. I’ve been covering Paramore’s songs for a few years now. Then I thought, why not make a project out of it, too, like Julie did? Of course I wouldn’t be able to update everyday since studying and recording songs is quite tedious, and my skills aren’t anywhere near the gods’, oh I mean Paramore’s. But it’s still worth a shot, right? It’s gonna be a good excuse, too, to be able to cover as many Paramore songs as I want. Teehee!
And who knows. They might even hear about this blog and hate me about it too, just like how Julia hated Julie’s Julia blog. I hope not haha. I’m pretty sure they won’t, though. They’re very friendly to their fans! <3
So yes. This is proof that I am indeed one huge Parawhore. Been one for the past 5 or 6 years I think. Back when nobody knew about them yet. I remember singing Conspiracy with my band in high school and everyone thinking it was one of our originals. Haha. How I wish.
I’m pretty sure that I won’t be falling out of love with the band in this lifetime, which is why I’ve decided to invest my time in this. I’m also hoping that in this way, Paramore would be helping me improve on my musicality, even in the most indirect way possible. Geez, I’m such a fan.
I just know that this project is going to be epic. I just KNOW it!!! *crosses fingers*
*and then gets hit by a bus*
Oh and about the blog name, Ashley and Hayley? I chose it ‘cause it sounds a lot better than Ashley and Paramore. It rhymes! *gets the chills lol*
